· Group will meet once a week for an hour and a half (approx.).
· Cost: $200 prepaid for 8 weeks. Any participant missing a group will receive the information the following week.
A women’s Group is being established in order to provide support and give women an opportunity to discuss and receive information important life issues in a nurturing environment. The members of the group are in control of what insight, information, and life experiences they choose to disclose. The goal of the group is for each member live a happier, more fulfilled life by learning from other women, as well, as receiving information on various important women oriented topics.
A licensed therapist will provide educational information and lead a discussion during sessions.
Proposed topic list and schedule:
Week 1: Intro to group, confidentiality, introductions, and goals of each participant.
Week 2: Self esteem and the inner critic in us all. Where is your self esteem?
What does your inner critic say to you?
Week 3: Thinking processes. What are your automatic thoughts? Are your thoughts helpful or hindering? Stress management.
Week 4: Anger management/conflict resolution. What anger style do you have? What’s healthy?
Week 5: Healthy relationships/safe people/boundaries/assertiveness training.
Week 7: Fitness, nutrition, and wellness.
Week 8: Wrap up: Summarize.
Light refreshments will be served each week. Please bring a pillow and small blanket to the group each week.
Ask about life coaching sessions. Have a concern or issue that requires professional advice? Maybe you just need feedback or validation about a decision, thought or idea. Maybe a conflict occurred and you need an objective party to listen and guide you.
